Cola maker named one of top job providers in Valenzuela City

ARC Refreshments Corporation (ARC), the licensed bottler of RC Cola International in the Philippines, was recently named as one of the top job providers in Valenzuela during the city’s 18th charter day anniversary celebration. This is the second time that ARC has been conferred the award.

The recognition for top job providers is an initiative of the Public Employment Service (PESO) of Valenzuela City. According to Lunining Martin, PESO Manager of Valenzuela City, the award is just one of the city government’s ways of commending its partner-employers. “ARC has been selected because of your company’s unwavering support on the job placement projects for our unemployed and underemployed constituents,” she stated in her congratulatory letter to the beverage company.

ARC considers the City of Valenzuela as a very promising market, one of the key areas in the country that can offer the best talents and help bring its operations to the next level. In fact, it has become a regular employer-participant to all PESO Jobs Fair in Valenzuela City and regularly sends updates to PESO for any job vacancies in the company. Just recently, ARC also conducted a special recruitment activity for fire victims at Kentex Manufacturing Plant in Valenzuela, in the process giving livelihood back to those who have lost their jobs because of the tragedy.

ARC currently has nine bottling plants in the country located in Antipolo, Canlubang, Kaybiga, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Isabela, Cebu, Davao and Tagoloan (Misamis Oriental). As the country’s beverage industry continues to grow, ARC sees an increase in local business which would also mean more jobs in the community.
